The Temple Arts Festival is an annual fund-raising event of The Temple, a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Contributions to The Temple qualify as charitable donations under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 170.
As directed by the IRS, all charitable organizations must establish fair market values for the goods and services received in exchange for your contribution. The tax deductibility of this gift is limited to the difference between the contributions and the value of the goods received.
A percentage of the proceeds benefits The Temple, Congregation Ohabai Sholom, Nashville, Tennessee's oldest and largest Jewish congregation. Up to 40 percent of artwork purchased may qualify as a charitable donation.
