The Temple Arts Festival is a Juried Sale & Exhibition featuring the work of both national & local professional artists. Featured for sale are works from such well knowns as Dale Chihuly, Richard Jolley, Victoria Martinez-Rodgers and James del Grosso and over 50 nationally and locally acclaimed professional artists who specialize in glass, sculpture, drawings & paintings, photography, tapestry and jewelry. Included are artists from Eastern Europe and the renowned OK Harris Gallery of New York City.
A private collection of impressionist and post-impressionist art, including several masterworks from Picasso, Renoir and Gauguin, will be exhibited.
The Temple Arts Festival has attracted artists and their works from 13 states in addition to Tennessee as well as from London and Romania. Artwork will be represented from the states of: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin as well as from the counties of London and Romania.
A collectors’ preview cocktail party will be held on Sat., April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. where those who purchased advanced collectors’ certificates will be the first to preview the festival’s artwork for sale.
The evening will include the sale of a VIP “behind the scenes” private tour for up to 10 people to attend a live auction at Christie’s of New York. The $1,000 per person package includes admission, a special sale walk-through and discussion of sale highlights with an auction specialist, boardroom lunch and airfare.
